About Jennifer
I began working with metals while studying at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in 1997. My delicately industrial jewelry is inspired by an affinity for machine components, kinetic movement and the beautiful natural patterns occurring in nature. Using silver, gold and occasionally gemstones, I create delicately linked geometric patterns and organic imagery like bird wings, flowers and leaves. Kinetic movement plays a role in the designs, concentric circles spinning inside hexagons or a stairway of silver folding like a puzzle. I am attracted to contradictory themes- hard vs. soft, dark vs. bright, industrial vs. organic forms.
My entire collection can be viewed at some of the country's finest art and craft shows. I always have fresh, new designs on display, I hope to see you out there!
